Falls Police Chief Howard Gillette Friday broke his three-da- y ailence concerning a shipment of stolen furs received here but continued his refusal to disclose the name of the Twin Falls woman $560 000 worth of furs from movie stars and other notables Chief Gillette in his first discussion of the case revealed the furs came here by express on May 27 and that the woman who received the goods had hung them in a closet in her home "Although she could offer no explanation of the reason for the gift from a friend the woman was apparently not criminally involved as a fence or a Gillette declared "The consignee of this was in no way imphrated shipment as an accomplice in' any crime hut simply received this ahipment without knowledge of what it was when she signed for it" he added The chief added that Fuller haa been in Twnn Falls some time within the past year or two but that he was known here under another name rather than the probable alias under which he wras arrested The shipment of fur3 consisted of four fur coats a double fox fur neckpiece and several cloth coats with fur collars of ermine beaver and seal the investigation showed and were valued by Loa Angeles officials at about $20(300 Gillette said the shipment of furs was the only one shipped to the unrevealed local woman hut that her friend hod frequently on oc( asions fent her other gifts such as
