Because we want to? No because our brain tells us to! When we are quite small we laugh and cry more than when we are older When our brain is more developed we learn that crying does no good It is so with laughter We learn that things are not always as funny as they had seemed This brings us to a more important thought Laughing at the right time Laughter can be very cruel A girl or boy in error piay do a thing that is highly embarrassing If this happens in front of a crowd someone is sure to laugh This is a sense of humor directed in the wrong way We learn that humor is often applied wrong For instance there Is the practical Joker This person is always thinking of some way to “pull” a Joke on someone else The Joke is usually a trap which causes pain or discomfort This person can scarcely ever stand having a Joke pulled on him! In fact he is generally a poor sport A sense of humor is really a very valuable trait and we can acquire one that is properly balanced If we trjr It is said it helps us to see ourselves as other’s see us which alone would probably tell us a lot! Humor is a magic carpet that lifts us from our disappointments high to the rosy clouds of gladness where we can always face-th- e world with a smile worth while!
