Hill Heroes Volunteers The Hill Heroes group is looking for volunteers to assist with creating deployment dolls and pillowcases for deserving families around Hill Air Force Base. Volunteers gather the third Friday of each month at 9 a.m., to cut, iron, sew, stuff, and create "stuffed mommies and daddies." Leader, Cindy Schmierer, and her co-leader, Tammy Allen, work diligently each month to meet their designated orders from the Airman & Family Readiness Center who collect orders during deployment briefings. These new hours will allow more time for dorm residents to retrieve packages.
