Show T Tilltop HILLTOP TIMES 10 TIMES June 12, 2014 Kolbe From 9 Advisory Committee and vice president of Matrix Design Group. "This year's awards winners demonstrate the significance of innovation in defense communities and showcase the exceptional accomplishments of elected officials, public servants and military leaders across the country" Kolbe has been integral in setting up part- Sound From 7 Weese, who credits Curtis, with the help of the Non-Stop From 9 agent in the businessclass lavatory. The other problem is, you can't keep killing people to narrow down your suspect list or the rest of the people will start to get nervous. It is kind of rude that the mystery guest takes credit for the bathroom incident, but dead is dead. Now Bill has another 20 minutes to stop the next killing ... before Bill strikes again? Surely, the mystery guest isn't going to make nerships with local universities to help with the library on base, partnering with the Utah Department of Transportation to make more use of the FrontRunner by bringing a bus onto base from the Clearfield Frontrunner station, and partnering with local school districts to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. "Our relationship with the community is integral to the success of HAFB," said Kolbe, who said dealing with sequestration for the next 10 years is the reason behind the base's push to be more cost-effective with win-win partnerships. Kolbe received the award on June 5 at a special Congressional Breakfast on Capitol Hill during the Defense Communities National Summit hosted by ADC, the nation's leading association representing U.S. communities and states with a significant military presence, and their partner organizations. The ceremony was attended by members of Congress and leaders from the Pentagon. "Colonel Kolbe has emerged as a true leader in finding innovative ways to forge partnerships with local communities," said ADC President Bob Murdock. "When ADC and others worked with Congress to extend the authority to allow installations and communities to find more ways to collaborate, the hope was that thoughtful innovators like Kolbe would use the opportunity to not only enhance mission efficiency, but support the surrounding communities. Her work will continue to serve as a model for others." Kolbe was surprised by the award, and was honored to even be nominated. "Especially during this period of sequestration, we have a great opportunity to partner more closely with our community in win-win situations to become more cost effective together," Kolbe said. Northern Wasatch Association of Realtors, in getting the event up and running. During the event, local leaders will speak, in addition to a commemoration held at noon for former Mayor Curtis, who passed away last November. Though the event is free to the public, any monies raised from the event this year will go toward homeless veterans and Post-Tramatic Stress Disorder counsel- ing. "We've been hitting the streets lately and we're truly shocked and hurt that so many veterans are freezing at night and hungry during the day," Weese said. "We talk to the person hiding in the bushes, hand them a few dollars and a care package. Many homeless veterans aren't looking for a handout, just some acknowledgment with a thank you and a hug." Event organizers are expecting more than 250 hot rods and show cars, 80 vendor booths, giveaways, live music, and several guest speakers. Vendor booths are still available. It doesn't help that the woman sitting next to him is the highly inquisitive, Oscar-nominat- ed Julianne Moore and one of the flight attendants is also Oscar-nominated Lupita Nyong'o. Why would they be in this movie unless they had pretty significant roles? Ah, the wheels are turning as you try to figure out who is doing what to whom. It's like one of those murder mystery dinners, only the food is lousy and it's at 40,000 feet. And to add to the drama, the grounds people are starting to suspect the troublemaker might be the alcoholically-challenged Marshal Bill himself. Yes, even hints of "Flight" are wafting in the air. There are two ways you can approach this. Not go, thus avoiding another white-knuckle Neeson nightmare, or just enjoy the ride, no matter how ridiculous the reveal, because you're rooting for Liam. I chose the latter. And I think his fans will too. "Kathryn has been establishing win-win partnerships with local communities to reduce the costs of operating Hill Air Force Base." — GEN.
