The Davis Arts Council, Boeing and Zions Bank sponsored legendary duo, Air Supply, during the eleventh concert of the twelve scheduled for the Summer Concert Series. More than fifty members of Team Hill received free tickets and enjoyed the music the Air Supply duo has produced for more than 35 years. Above, members of the Hill Air Force Base Honor Guard, along with singers from the 75th Medical Group Melodic Medics perform the National Anthem before the start of the concert. Benefits of the medical Third Party Collection Program 75th Medical Group U nder the Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Act of 1986, all military medical treatment facilities are mandated to bill health insurance carriers for the cost of medical care provided to active duty family members, retirees and family members who are covered by other health insurance. The 75th Medical Group (75 MDG) Clinic must comply with this law and needs your help for continued program success. The Third Party Collections Program does not cost you any money; the obligation to pay medical care costs applies only to the insurance carrier. In fact, the benefits for the patient include no co-pay, deductible or any patient responsibility charges indicated in the Explanation of Benefits received from the insurance company. This means you may pay less out of pocket expense when later seeking health care through a civilian provider. Monies collected under this program are deposited directly into the 75th MDG Operations and Maintenance account. In fiscal year 2011, $2 million was collected. This accounted for 7 percent of the 75th MDG operations and maintenance budget. Your active role in assisting us by identifying your other health insurance policies when you come to the MTF can directly contribute to our ability to provide you with quality health care. The 75th Medical Group Team appreciates your assistance in helping the clinic keep up with these requirements and creating a health care environment we can all be proud of. Our ultimate goal is to provide enhanced health care services for you — the patient. For further assistance with the Third Party Collections (TPC) Program, please stop by the TPC office located on the first floor near the pharmacy or call our TPC representatives at 801-5869847 or 801-777-6422.
