"The seminars are all about building and taking personal responsibility in your life." Topics will include: three sessions with LISA Jobs, parenting, marriage, dressing for your body type, sexual assault prevention, how to get rid of your own limitations, negotiating to be successful, secrets to successful leadership and much more. The keynote speaker this year is Brad Barton. He is a certified speaking professional who will present his talk "Beyond Illusions" during a luncheon on March 22 at The Landing. His talk will discuss moving beyond the illusion that things in an organization are bad and to developing solutions. A new addition to this year's women's history month is the film festival presented by the Friend's of the Federal Women's Program (FFWP). The festival runs March 5-31. The films will be shown at the Base Theater and include movies from the 1930s to the present. Some of those movies include: "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "Steel Magnolias," "Pocahontas" and "The Scarlet Letter." All the movies are free and open to anyone with base access. The concession stand will be open and all proceeds will go towards the FFWP scholarship fund. Larsen said that the scholarship award is S500 this year and applications are now being accepted.
