Meg Johnson, a motivational speaker, will share the benefit of some of her life-changing experiences in a keynote address at 11 a.m. While there, attendees may donate items to the Airmen's Attic for its November care package delivery to deployed Airman. Anyone who attends the kick-off event will be entered into a drawing for one of two iPODS,aKindle,ora$20 Amazon.com gift certificate. Frfty eligible charity booths will answer questions, 10 am. to 2 p.m. Contributing to CFC is voluntary as is filling out the form in any manner when contacted by a unit representative during the campaign which runs through Nov. 17. Those who choose not to donate are still invited to participate in a drawing for eight chances to win $100, by simply filling out name and organization on the donation form. Base mail delivery now twice a week Hill Air Force Base has reduced organizational mail delivery from five days per week to two days per week effective Oct. 1. For urgent official mail pickup or drop-off, customers can come to the Official Mail Center (OMC), Building 344. Only authorized Activity Distribution Office (ADO) Points of Contact (POC) can pick up mail for their organization. Commanders and directors appoint ADO POCs in writing for each organization. There is no change to how the Clearf ield United States Post Office delivers mail to base housing. For questions or concerns, please contact the OMC at (801) 777-3358 or 777-2488. CFC Nexus website cleared for use The Combined Federal Campaign Nexus link is being used again for online donations. Just like last year, users will see a warning regarding the website's security certificate. October is recognized annually as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Nation, and the military, have made remarkable progress over the n Sept. 29, the 572nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron completed depot maintenance on its 44th C-130 Hercules for fiscal year 2010, a production record that exceeds the output of the past two years. When the Program Office contracted 34 aircraft for FY 2010, the 572nd set an aggressive goal to produce 10 more — a total of 44 aircraft (28 for the Air Force and 16 for the Navy and Marine Corps).
