Learn emergency maneuvers on a controlled range, rather than on a busy street. This is a very good course especially for the rider with a lot of experience. Riders do tend to pick up bad habits over the years and this course will help you to identify and eliminate those on the learning range instead of on the road. To schedule your course go to https://www2.hill.af.mil/moto/ app/index.php or if you have any questions contact Allan Woods at (801) 777-3333, Extension 2. AFRC to limit service July 29-30 for training The Airman and Family Readiness Center will provide limited service July 29-30 due to staff training. Only emergency situations will be accepted during that time. The Airmen's Attic will be open during its normal hours. Team Hill has iits own business version of "freecycling," one of the trendier attempts in these fiscally tighter times. In coordination with continued efforts to clean up and restore usable space it has been coordinated with the DLA Disposition Services (previously DMRO) to allow the turn-in of specific office furniture items WITHOUT the normal required paperwork. Please remember that it is imperative that no paperwork be left behind in desks, shelving and cabinets, when delivering them to DLA Disposition Services. On Aug. 5, DLA Disposition Services will be accepting both serviceable and unserviceable desks. On Aug. 19, DLA Disposition Services will be accepting both serviceable and unserviceable chairs. 1 If you have any questions on what is or isn't acceptable please contact David Beasley at (801) 777-8044. "We are very, very grateful to the Department of Defense for its insight in understanding that these children above all others need this opportunity," said Principal Paul Bryner about the largest grant the school had ever received under his administration. "(Military families) do have to move. They do have family members that have to be separated for great lengths of time. They do have people who are sent in harm's way. All of these things create stresses in families that 'normal1 families don't have. See STEM I page 8 Look inside this week's Hilltop Times for...
