Salazar noted that all persons renting out a camp trailer must have a trailer brake controller, which is a device that sits underneath the towing vehicle's dashboard and supplies power from the towing vehicle to the trailer's electric brakes. As for the ATVs, their rental includes one helmet and a full tank of gas, Salazar said. But, just like a rental car, renters must bring back their ATV with a full tank of gas or else pay for the Outdoor Rec office to fill it back up. Also popular during the summer is the office's selection of 3-, 6- and 8-person tents. "On holiday weekends our tents go fast," said Debbie Whittington, a recreational aide. The Outdoor Rec office not only rents out equipment, they also sell it. Currently for sale are several pairs of men's and women's high performance downhill skis ranging in price from $200 to $525. This family-flavored campout will feature children's crafts, sports activities, a nature walk, interactive displays by the Ogden Nature Center, and, of course, s'mores and ghost stories.
