The entire facility will be undergoing renovations for approximately 45 days. The renovations will include an upgrade to more energy efficient machinery. Memorial Day induction into Hall of Fame, 'Field of Valor' service at chapel honor those who came before Food Pantry seeks volunteers Friday The Food Pantry, which is currently located at the Airman and Family Readiness Center, will be moving to the Airman's Attic in Building 150 on June 8. Due to the new location, the Food Pantry will now be open during Airman's Attic business hours, which are Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed Friday, June 4, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., to help move. The Food Pantry is a resource for those ranked E-6 and below who are struggling financially and in need of food. Others will be considered case by case. Donations are welcome during business hours or place items in a donation box located near the Commissary exit. To volunteer, please contact Colette Geiss at (801) 586-2697. Construction on 1-15 bridges starts June 3 : State officials have announced maintenance work projects on Interstate 15 will begin on weekends starting June 3 and continue for four weeks. ; The following 1-15 bridges will be under repair: • Roy 5600 South interchange - • The bridge over the Union Pacific railroad tracks (just south of 5600 South in Roy) : • Clearfield 700 South interchange , All 1-15 interchange ramps at'5600 South in Roy will be closed from 7 p.m., Friday, June 4, until 6 a.m., Monday, June 7. Alternate routes to use are 31st Street in Ogden and 650 North Street in Clearfield. Traffic will be detoured to State Road 126 (1900 West in Roy, Main Street in Clearfield). Most work will be completed on weekends. ' For the first two Thursday nights (June 3 and June 10), I-T5 will be restricted to two lanes at 7 p.m. and one lane from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday. Motorists should expect restrictions in both directions on 1-15, beginning at 7 p.m. each Friday and continuing through Monday mornings at 5 a.m. for southbound traffic and at:6 a.m. for northbound traffic. Bloomquist's induction into the Utah Aviation Hall of Fame, particularly fitting in view of current events. The Korean and Vietnam War medevac pilot served at a time when communism was the threat which the U.S. and its foes were fighting by proxy, he said. Ultimately however, Bloomquist . lost his life due to the actions of ] a terrorist group in Germany, the s Baaden-Meinhoff Gang. "The American military has established a degree of peace in the world which the world has not seen in over a century," Bennett said.
