The buildings to be effected are: Buildings 14,10, Tower, Airfield and Base Ops. Airman's Attic holiday closure The Airman's Attic will be closed for the holiday season from Dec. 22 until Jan. 5. The Airman's Attic will reopen Jan. 6 for normal business hours. Dec. 19 prime rib dinner in food court A prime rib dinner with mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, roll and butter and beverage will be served Dec. 19 at the food court. Purchase $10 tickets by Dec. 16 for the meal to be served from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, base cleanup day Friday has been designated by the installation commander as a base-wide cleanup day. However, in anticipation of inclement weather as forecasted for Friday, everyone should start cleaning their areas as soon as possible before bad weather sets in. Roy Gate project begins Dec. 15 Starting Dec. 15, the Roy Gate will be undergoing construction to install a new search area shelter. The construction is scheduled to last through the end of the month. The primary inbound lanes will be used as commercial vehicle search lanes throughout the duration of the project All noncommercial vehicles should approach the gate in the left lane. Inbound traffic for all noncommercial vehicles will be restricted to one lane, except from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m., Monday through Friday. The outbound lanes will be open to inbound traffic allowing for a total of three inbound lanes during those hours. For more information, call Security Forces Operations at 775-2627. From spring to fall 2009, Air Combat Command's West Coast, single-ship, F-16 demonstration team will travel nationally and internationally to showcase the combat capabilities of the Fighting Falcon and the professionalism of Airmen. David Abbott, Hill AFB utility manager, and Dale Scott, a contractor who serves as the Resource Efficiency manager for energy management support, explained the latest efforts being made on base. Ameresco Federal Solutions, a Knoxville, Tenn.-based energy services business, was awarded a contract in September 2007 and received approval for a photovoltaic project in August 2008, on a site located north of Area G E ach Thursday for the past three months, approximately 14 cadets from the University of Utah's Reserve Officers' Training Corps, Detachment 850, "visit" Col.
