During the inventory, the only transactions that will be supported are emergency requests approved in writing by the requester's group commander or equivalent. Breinholt concert to benefit Blue Star A benefit concert and dinner for the Blue Star mothers on June 28 will feature Peter Breinholt, folk and pop artist, at the American West Heritage Center, Wellsville. Dinner will begin at 4 p.m., and the concert will follow at 6 p.m. Concert tickets are $10, dinner, $5 and combined concert and dinner, $12. Family passes are available for $35. In addition, general legal assistance (for POA and notaries) Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be provided only on a limited basis June 26-27. There will be a color guard presentation and fireworks. Defenders Picnic set for July 18 The Salute to Our Nation's Defenders Picnic is scheduled for July 18, 3 p.m., at Centennial Park. All activeduty, Reserve and Guard military members are invited to this free event. Food will be served from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a live band, rock climbing and bouncy castles. DEERS/ID Card Office changes The Customer Service DEERS/ID Card Office in Building 180 will have minimal manning on June 28 due to an OperationaJ Readiness Exercise. Business hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but customers may experience increased wait times. The office will be closed June 26-27 for a DEERS/RAPIDS computer hardware/software upgrade. Manning will return to normal on June 30. Beginning June 30, all customers must have two forms of ID with them to receive a new CAC or dependent ID (excluding children). This policy has been put into effect by Homeland Security HSPD12. There is no exception to this rule. Acceptable forms of identification include DoDissued ID cards, drivers' licenses, Social Security cards, birth certificates, voter's registration cards, passports, school identification cards, appropriate INS documentation or other authorized documents listed on Form I-9. At least one of the two forms of ID must have a current recognizable photo. Call customer service at 5865434 for more information. Since this is a secure Web site, those making an appointment must have access to a government computer. Appointments may be scheduled from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.-2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Rules for groups to visit Hill listed For one-time access to Hill AFB for large groups, such as birthday or other parties, retirement ceremonies, bowling or golfing tournaments, or any other function, a list must be provided to the West Gate Visitor Center at Hill Air Force Base. The list may be e-mailed to 75SFS.SFOXI@Hill-AF.Mil when originating from an onbase e-mail account, or may be delivered in person by the sponsor. CJC Freedom Ride for the Kids The Friends of the Weber/ Morgan Children's Justice Center are riding for freedom and justice for child victims of crime at the first ever CJC Freedom Ride for the Kids on July 4. The scavenger-style ride begins with breakfast at 9 a.m. at Golden Spike Harley, at 892 Riverdale Road in Ogden. The ride will follow Ogden Canyon and end in Stoddard for lunch and an after party. Fee is $35 ($40 day of event) and includes t-shirt, pin, breakfast, lunch and a wrist band for the Hot Rock'n 4th in Ogden.
