Enjoy the great outdoors through organized tours Outdoor Recreation is offering the upcoming trips: Parade Rest Ranch and Yellowstone National Park, Aug. 31-Sept. 3, $260 per person, includes gratuity with $100 deposit due upon sign-up. Deposit is nonrefundable. Don't miss the most popular trip of the year. The Parade Rest Ranch offers comfortable cabins with modern facilities. Enjoy horseback riding through surrounding mountains and meadows. Fly fish right outside the cabin areas with a temporary Montana fishing license. You must provide your own fishing gear. The license can be purchased on the way up to Parade Rest Ranch. Depart at 7 a.m. on Aug. 31. TVip includes a guided tour of Yellowstone National Park. All meals feature homestyle cooking. Please sign up and pay two weeks prior to trip departure date. Bring extra money for lunch on the way to and from Parade Rest Ranch. Children must be at least 8 years old to horseback ride. Corral rides for children under 7 are available upon request. There is a maximum weight limit of 250 pounds to ride the horses. Minimum of 10 sign ups for this trip and a maximum of 20 is needed. Shoshone Trail ATV Trip, Sept. 21-23, $150 per person. Ride includes some fabulous country camping in the high mountains. Depart at 7 a.m. on Sept. 21. Participants must wear boots (no tennis shoes for riding), bring a camel back or water bottle, jacket, hat, sunscreeen, personal items, sleeping bag, tent, and food for two breakfasts, two lunches and one dinner. Trip includes ATV, gas, one dinner, helmet and trip guide. Riders must be at least 18 years old. Minimum of six participants and a maximum of eight needed for this trip. Havasupai Falls Trip, Oct. 3-8, $265 per person. Travel to the most beautiful and re- Save up to 50% at companies such as; mote areas of the western Grand Canyon. Hike in by foot and stay two nights at the Havasupai Campground. Depart Hill AFB at 5 a.m. on Oct. 3 and travel to Supai, Ariz., and stay the night. Hike into the canyon the next day and stay for 2fo days. On Oct. 7, participants will depart by helicopter. Areas to day hike include Supai Falls, Havasu Falls, Mooney Falls, and there is a museum to visit. The hike takes about three to six hours depending on the group. Participants need to bring money for meals on the way to Havasupai Falls and the trip back to Hill AFB. There is a store in the village and a cafe where you can purchase supplies and meals or bring food for three breakfasts, four lunches and three dinners. Trip includes transportation, camping fees, helicopter ride out and three meals. Children ages 10 and older are welcome if accompanied by their parents.
