WE CAN HELP. mm- Local teen son of military family earns Eagle Scout Tyler J. Stitt, son of Army Sgt. 1st Class Ralph and Becky Stitt, received his Eagle Scout award Oct. 25. A court of honor will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Roy 1st Ward. A member of Hill AFB Troop 55 since February 2001, Mr. Stitt has earned 39 merit badges, including environmental science, rifle shooting and canoeing. He attended scout camp every year in Wyoming, California and Utah. His scouting awards include, Scout of the Year, Faith in God and On My Honor. For his Eagle project, Mr. Stitt oversaw 45 volunteers in clearing trails and replacing old, rotting steps with new ones for erosion control at the Pineview Trailhead.
