Show Lifetimes August 26, 2004 Photo by Shad West Cardboard, duct tape, and an adventurous group of mariners added up to the 5th Annual Cardboard Regatta at the Hill AFB Youth Fishing Pond, last week. The 75th Services "Blew-By-You" crew (left) and the 649th CLSS Sheet Metal sailors (right) battled It out at the start of the race. The Sheet Metal craft took first while the 649th CLSS Crew Chiefs came in second, and the Services boat rounded out the top three. Other entries Included 84 RADES, 4th FS Weapons Flight, ALC/MAPA, 729th DO, 649th MUNS, 729th SCUV and 75th Comm. Squadron. ^ Services Summer Bash photo by Shad West "Come together...right now"... is what the Beatles tribute band Imagine sang Saturday night. Their two-hour concert wrapped up the week-long Summer Bash celebration. Photo by Beth Young Clouds shaded the more than 40 athletes from the hot summer sun during the Summer BASH Chase the Moose and Ditch the Dog Fun Run on Aug. 18. Whether they chose the one mile walk or the 2.8 mile run, all who entered got a T-shirt to remember the event by. The top three male runners were JaDee Moncur, Randy Thomas and Robert Gwizdala. The top three female runners were Malya Kraus, Paige Martin and Ashley Friedli. The top three walkers were Lorraine Vernon, Judith Weyland and Steve Marsh.
