Show HENRY N BOWRING CALLED BY DE BEATH after tour four on saturday afternoon henry N dow bowring lin died at the pearse hospital whither lie ho had been removed friday evening suffering with wrights disease sir air bowring had been ill tor for ten baysor days or more and his condition became such that grave fears were entertained on morning for his recovery after being removed to the hospital and given the care of oc a special nurse lie he passed a peaceful night and was much refreshed on saturday morning so much better was lie he that his physician expressed confidence in fit his ability to pass through the ordeal and get well mr air bowring continued to feel better all through the day and the end cams very suddenly in the bats late afternoon ilis his heart was affected by the disorder it his system and that hastened the end brid mr air bowring was born in salt lar lake e city on the ath day of january 1861 i I 1 ile he came to Brig hain with his parents parent tile the late henry E and annie N bowring when he was but a young man so that brigham city has been his home the greater part of 0 his life ile he learned the art of telegraphy when a lad and for years followed that avocation being stationed at this city where lie was both telegraph operator and agent in the days of the old utah c northern railroad ile he worked for the railroad in other parts of this state stale and neighboring states until lie he decided to give up that busi business and returned to brigham where he went into business writing fire insurance operating a hotel engaging in mercantile business and doine doina abstracts abstracting he acquired considerable valuable property both residential and business ile he built the alta theatre and added to the old minnie minnia J snow property on forest street to make the bowring house which he operated for several years as a rooming house mr bowring bo cared little for public preferment but was content to go about his own affairs which lie he minded pretty faithfully without disturbing lils his neighbors he leaves a wife and three daughters the eldest being married and residing at long beach cal he has one whole brother mr air J frank bowring of this city and a bumber of half brothers and sisters residing in fit salt lake and ogden funeral services will be held in ill the third ward chapel chape tomorrow at 2 p m |
