Proud parents are Jesse and Marie Ogden of Eden. Proud siblings include Caleb (4), Jacob (3), and Carly (2). Birthdays Mr. & Mrs. Jared Froerer Flinders Zella Mitchell Flinders of Clearfield celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner at Maddox Ranch House. She was born July 11, 1913, in Clinton to Joseph Clements Mitchell and Edith Sarah Burnett. She was the eighth of 12 children. She was raised in Clinton on the family farm. She attended Davis High School, and has lived in Clinton; Hooper; Eden; Adrian, Washington; and Newport, Oregon. She worked as a homemaker, a custodian, and a cook for Davis School District. Her hobbies included gardening, quilting, cooking, canning, and embroidering. She has served in many callings in the LDS church. She married Clarence Hartland Flinders on October 7, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 12, 1994. They had 11 children: Effie and DeLoy Ottley, Clarence and Sherry Flinders, Leon and Brenda Flinders, George Flinders, Ray and Sherry Flinders, Thelma and Bill Parking, Reed and Sharon Flinders, Milt and Adele Flinders, Dale Flinders, Carl and Debbie Flinder, and Anna and Lenny Williams. She has 28 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Mr. & Mrs. Skyler Liston Boulton-Froerer Anderson-Liston Emily Boulton and Jared D. Froerer were united in marriage June 26, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. An open house was held in their honor at the Marriott City Center in Salt Lake City. The bride is the daughter of Russell and Linda Boulton of Sandy, Utah. She graduated from Hillcrest High School and LDS Seminary. She received her Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University, and her Masters degree from Westminster College in Salt Lake City. She is employed as a teacher by the Jordan School District. Parents of the bridegroom are Marilyn B. Froerer of Huntsville, Utah and the late Robert E. Froerer. He is a graduate of Weber High School and LDS Seminary. He served in the Germany, Hamburg LDS Mission. He received his Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University and his Masters degree from the University of Utah. He is a mental health counselor, and is employed by Sandy City. The new couple will reside in Sandy, Utah after their honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii. After five long years, it’s finally happened! Skyler K. Liston and Genevieve Anderson were united in marriage for time and all eternity on July 17, 2003 in the Ogden LDS Temple. A wedding luncheon followed at the Golden Corral, and a reception was held that evening at the Liberty North Fork Ward Church. The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Susan Anderson of North Ogden. The bridegroom is the son of Kalyn and Shelley Liston of Liberty. The bride chose Ashlie Biuner as her maid of honor, and Beth Anderson, Laura Lee Anderson, Sarah Liston, and Nellie Liston as her bridesmaids. The bridegroom chose Bowdie Malan as best man, and Derek Pontius, George Dean, Sam Anderson, and Nicholas Liston as his groomsmen. The bride graduated from Weber High School and LDS Seminary in 2000. She is currently employed at Weber High School as the advisor to the colorguard, and is a student at Weber State University. She is pursuing a degree in Office Systems Technology. The bridegroom also graduated from Weber High School and LDS Seminary in 2000. He served in the Honolulu Hawaii Mission from March 2001 to February 2003. He is currently employed at Home Depot, and will start school in the fall at Weber State, studying criminal justice. The new couple will reside in Roy following their honeymoon to the Unitas. HUNTSVILLE - Wanda Amelia Grow Michelson died July 24, 2003 at her home in Huntsville. She went through her last illness with patience, and kept her sense of humor. She was born July 9, 1911 to Amelia Bergitte Wangsgaard and John Moyer Grow in Huntsville, Utah. She attended school in Huntsville and then went on to graduate from Weber High School in 1927. Wanda married Darald Elliot Michelson in 1940. They were known for growing fine apples. Wanda accompanied Darald as he sang at many local functions. The happiest time of her life was when she and her husband served in the Ogden Temple. Wanda enjoyed children and worked in the Junior Sunday School as a teacher of the three year olds for many years. She was organist in various wards in Huntsville for decades. She was always ready to help. She would give rides or do errands. Wanda crocheted many afghans, sweaters, hats and scarves. She always enjoyed reading and read many hours to her children. Her love for her grandchildren was shown in the many hours she spent playing with them, and just listening to them. She always had treats ready and time to spend with children. Wanda is survived by her husband; her two children, Darald Jay (Elsa) Michelson of Fresno, California and Etta Michelson (Paul) Baker of Huntsville, Utah. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She will be missed. Funeral services were held Monday, July 28, at 11:00 a.m. at the Huntsville Chapel. Interment, Huntsville City Cemetery.
