She was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Oliver Harold Moyes, her husband, one grandchild, Janeen Jorgensen, and one greatgrandchild, Randee Sue Craw. Internment, Huntsville Cemetery. Lionel Joseph Chambers NORTH OGDEN-Lionel Joseph Chambers, 79, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 21, 1999. He was born on November 20, 1920 in Eden, Utah a son of William L. and Ada Ann Stallings Chambers. On November 2, 1945 he married Marva Hale in the Slat Lake LDS Temple. He served as a fleet navigator in a B-24 in the Army Air Corps in the European Theater during WWII. He was a co-owner of Jack’s Shop, where he was well known for his quality work as a machinist and welder. He was an active High Priest in the North Ogden 1st Ward. He faithfully served in various church positions including his service with his wife as missionaries in the Philippine Tacloban Mission. He was a wonderful husband, and loving father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife, Marva H. Chambers and six sons and five daughters, Linda and Doug Stoddard, Craig and Rosemary Chambers, Randy and Karla Chambers, Gary Chambers, Reid and Shirley Chambers, Lonnie and Lyman Barker, Lori and Brad Reeves, Rod and Chris Chambers, Lorraine and Lance Mead, Kelly and Miriam Chambers, LeeAnn and Andy Lippert and 59 grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Enid and Tom Poorte and Shirley and Glen Collins. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Barker; a brother, Bemel; and a sister, Phyllis. A very special thanks to Vista Care Hospice, especially Maggie and Belinda for their loving care. Internment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden. Eileen Elizabeth Browne Bishop Eileen Elizabeth Browne Bishop, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, was called home to a loving Heavenly Father on the morning of Thanksgiving, November 25, 1999 after a short but courageous battle with lupus. Eileen was born November 21, 1947 to William K. (Bill) and Marilyn Coray Browne in Ogden, Utah. She was reared and educated in Ogden, where she graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State University, where she met her sweetheart Delbert H. Bishop. They were married June 29, 1967 for all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. She made her home in Liberty, Utah in 1973, and was active in many organizations in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She gave selfless service in the Primary, Young Women, and the Relief Society. She taught and held leadership positions in each organization including Relief Society President of the Mountain View Ward. She loved the Lord and trusted in Him. She worked for five and a half years for the Trapper Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America, as the Friends of Scouting Secretary. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Browne and Phillip Browne. She leaves behind her husband, and posterity of seven children (four boys and three girls), and four grandchildren. Her children are: Marc C. (Sharon) Bishop, Nibley; Craig D. (Kristy) Bishop, Ogden; Paula Bishop, Roy; Allison (Justin) Caldwell, So.Ogden; Bryce E. Bishop, Elizabeth Bishop, and Evan C. Bishop, all of Liberty. Her grandchildren: Dallin, Carson, Brinley, and Branson. Also surviving are her mother and father of Ogden, her mother-in-law Pearl Bishop of Kaysville, three sisters: Cyndy (Lynn) Bodrero, Taylor; Laurie (Alan) Mueller, and Rosalyn (Blake) Lott, all of North Ogden; sister-in-law Betty (Charles) Richey, Ogden; and brotherin-law Richard (Nancy) Bishop, Roy. Internment in the Liberty Cemetery. Cindy Jo Huntington HUNTSVILLE – Cindy Jo Huntington, 40, died Saturday, November 27, 1999 in Tooele, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born December 20, 1958 in Ogden, a daughter of Clarence Clark and Barbara Cude Olsen. Cindy married Craig Huntington on September 14, 1981 in Huntsville. Craig died January 29, 1997. She graduated from Weber High School where she was member of the National Honors Society. She also graduated from LDS Seminary. She attended the Bryman School graduating as a medical assistant. Cindy was a member of the Huntsville 1st LDS Ward. She worked as a medical assistant for F.H.P. for 15 years. Cindy was a loving mother to her children. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Jake Tyrell Huntington, and Haley Noelle Huntington, both of Huntsville; one step-son and one stepdaughter, Robert Huntington and Brandy Lynn Huntington Webb; three step-grandchildren. Cindy is also survived by her parents of Huntsville; one brother and two sisters, Michael (Juliann) Olsen, Syracuse; Wendy Pretti, Ogden; Nanci (Wes) Brunker, Huntsville. Internment, Huntsville Cemetery. Young Womanhood Lindsay Beddes, 17, daughter of Vern and Sharon Beddes of Liberty, has earned her Young Women Gold Medallion Award. Lindsay is a member of the Liberty 2nd Ward. She attends Weber High School. Karolyn L. Smith, 17, daughter of Lindford and Karen Smith of Liberty, has earned her Young Women Gold Medallion Award. Karolyn is a member of the Liberty 2nd Ward. She attends Weber High School. The Young Women Gold Medallion Award is given to LDS women who, through the six years they are in the Young Women’s program, complete various projects for personal growth, and for community and church service.
