Show Page 6 The Ogden Valley news Volume XXIII Issue XVI September 15, 2016 Announcements Wedding Obituaries Toloso – Folkman Ronald and Jill Toloso are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Glorya Avalon Toloso to Jason Lee Folkman, son of Steve and Marianne Folkman. Jason and Glorya met in 2011 while going to school at Utah State University. They were married June 4, 2016 at Glorya’s childhood home in Huntsville, Utah. They will make their home in Logan. Jason is a graduate of Logan High School, a history graduate of Utah State University, and Lorna Berlin McIntyre is pursuing a Master’s Degree while working at Utah State in the Collections Development October 25, 1923 ~ August 26, 2016 Jason and Glorya Folkman Department of the Merrill-Cazier Library. Wayne Blair Roskelley October 15, 1931 ~ September 3, 2016 Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Wayne Blair Roskelley, passed away peacefully September Wayne Roskelley 3, 2016. He was born October 15, 1931 in Lewiston, Utah to Milton and Zella Blair Roskelley. Wayne married his sweetheart Clydean Nash February 11, 1953 in Pocatello, Idaho. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple September 22, 1955. Wayne proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Wayne worked as Boat Patrol for the Search and Rescue at Pineview Reservoir. He enjoyed boating, hunting, meeting for coffee with his friends, watching western movies in color, cheering on the Utah Jazz, and watching bull riding. Wayne loved to watch his kids and grandkids play sports. He especially loved spending time with his family at their Bear Lake property. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 there. Her husband, Bill, passed away in 1967, and Lorna went to work in Delta as a legal secretary for the Millard County Attorney, Eldon Eliason. After ten years, she was offered a job as the secretary for Jack Valiquette, the plant manager at Brush Wellman. She loved her job and worked there until she retired. She was successful and highly respected in these positions and developed lifelong friendships with many of her colleagues and with those whom she came in contact. Lorna moved from the Ranch after 20 years and built her own home in Leamington where she lived for over 35 years. Lorna had a beautiful singing voice, possessed a love of art and music, and was a very talented seamstress. She was always active in many community and LDS church activities and charitable endeavors. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her, but also those of complete strangers through her many sewing projects that were donated to charities around the world. She had a kind, generous, fun-loving spirit, and a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who affectionately called her “Grandma Mac.” Lorna is survived by her three daughters: Marianne Wichmann (Richard “Bud”) Bailey, Olympia, WA; Betty Ann Wichmann (Brook) Pace, Leamington; Catherine McIntyre (Larry Smiltneek), Salt Lake City; grandchildren Jade McIntyre Finlinson, Kelly Pace (Gary) Knudsen, Erin Pace (Jon) Winters, Kara Pace (Lance) Andersen, Marcus (Maria) Pace; and great-grandchildren Boston and Preston Knudsen; Rylee, Taylor, and Keely Winters; Tanna, Isaac and Sam Anderson; and Braxtyn and Stella Maria Pace. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 1 at the Leamington LDS Chapel, 90 South Center. Burial in the Leamington Cemetery.
