The 4th of July Auction list goes on and on! in Huntsville has been a fun tradition for many years. Part of the fun is the wide variety of items that come up for bidding. This year promises to be the best yet. Topping the list is a 2007 Ford F150 truck that is in excellent condition. Someone is going to get a deal on this! The Kelly Blue Book is approximately $8,000. For the auction, we also have two other good vehicles, and possibly a brand new trailer from Big Bubba’s. How about an antique revolver? Fantastic artwork? And $100 gift cards to Maverik? WSU Offers Youth Summer Science Camps Weber State University will host various youth summer science camps as part of its continuing education initiative. Youth ages 8 to 15 are invited to participate in camps that run in June and July and explore science and technology. Each camp lasts four days, Monday thru Thursday, beginning June 15. Camp costs range from $120 to $145. “Summer camp can be one of the most rewarding experiences of a child’s life,” said Lauren Andersen, WSU continuing education director. “Camp provides children with invaluable education from a community of caring mentors. All of the outcomes—making friends, overcoming challenges, getting outside, staying healthy, and learning more about the world around us—prepare children for bigger and brighter lives down the road.” Subjects for the camps include neuroscience, space travel, how to build a roller coaster, and video game design. WSU professors or alumni will teach a majority of the camps. • Space Camp – June 15-18, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., ages 10-14, $120, Lind Lecture Hall Room 230.
