Seasonal jobs such as lift operators, Terrain Park, maintenance workers, ski instructors, snowmaking, and ski patrol will be offered to. All new employees will need to pass both a background check and drug screening. Before we know it the snow will be flying! This year you can purchase your season pass online at www.wolfcreekutah.com or in person at the resort’s Pineview lodge at Wolf Creek Resort. through our popular goB program and wish you could do it again, we have you covered. New this year is the “Been on Board” pass. The BoB pass comes with all the perks of the original program, but lessons are taught at an advanced level. We’ll refine your moves, get you more efficient, and elevate your performance on any run! The pass includes three lessons, three lift passes, and, upon completion, a Season Pass—all for only $250. This package is available to intermediate skiers and snowboarders ages 8 and older. The After School Program - This popular program will run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and friday starting the week of January 25, 2011. This is a two-hour group lesson offered from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A lift ticket and rental package is included in the program. Choose your day of the week and sign up early. enrollment for each afternoon is capped at 100 students. With our “get on Board” (goB) series you’ll receive a punch pass good for three lessons and lift pass. once you’ve completed the three lessons, redeem your punch pass for a Season Pass! The “get on Board” pass is only $200. This package is available to first-time skiers or snowboarders ages 8 and older. By Elise Hillstrom, Student Reporter School has started and with that comes jobs for 6th graders because we follow a classroom management program called econoMe. This program creates a virtual reality community that encourages leadership, financial skills, and entrepreneurs! on Thursday, August 26, 2010, five people out of all who ran were elected as Mayor, 1st and 2nd counselor, Clerk, and Marshall in each classroom. They each gave a speech about why they wanted to be Mayor and what they were willing to do for the job. Then the class voted. Those who were elected for the different jobs in Mrs. Warnes and Mrs. evans class are Taylor Rumsey as Mayor, Ambry Nielsen 1st Assistant, Ashlynd greenwood 2nd, Alexis Wendell as Clerk, and Jethro leo as Marshall. In Mrs. Hogge’s classroom, they are Shaelee Satterthwaite as Mayor, Brandon daugaard as 1st Assistant, Cooper Knighton as 2nd, Peter Tanner as Clerk, and Sam Chournos as Marshall. In Mrs. froerer’s class, Avery ogle was voted in as Mayor, Bronson Bailey 1st Assistant, Hudson Barrong as 2nd Assistant, eva Serio as Clerk, and Tyler orkin and Carver Booth as Marshalls. These leaders were able to decide who would get what jobs. everyone is excited to have their jobs. Best wishes and good luck this term in office! Weber State University’s Goddard School of Business Hosts 10-Year Celebration Gala & Benefit with Greg Mortenson, Author of Three Cups of Tea Weber State’s goddard School of Business cordially invites the community to attend the “goddard MBA 10-Year Celebration gala & Benefit” on friday, october 1 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the davis Conference Center in layton, Utah. As of 2009, the CAI has established or significantly supports 131 schools in rural and often volatile regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan, which provide education to over 58,000 children (www.gregmortenson.com). In addition to celebrating the success of the goddard MBA Program, the event is also intended as a fundraising benefit to support Mr. Mortenson’s work. As co-sponsor of the gala, the goal of the goddard MBA Alumni Association is to raise funds to help build a school through Mr. Mortenson’s Central Asia Institute.
