Show Page The Ogden Valley news Volume XVIII Issue III July 15, 2010 Ogden Valley Branch Offers Library Summer Programs The Ogden Valley Branch of the Weber County Library is offering the following summer programs: Children’s Summer Reading Program: Check Out a Hero! The fun will run through June and July. Children aged 3 through 12 will most enjoy this free program. Read at home (or be read to) for three or more hours, and earn a prize! Come to fun, educational activities every other week, beginning June 7. Teen Summer Reading Program: Play It! Get in the game this summer at the Weber County Library! Come to two or more fun, free activities and rate at least two books you’ve read or listened to, and get a bag of free stuff. Want to do more? Earn a chance to win a grand prize by coming to more programs and rating more books. The program ends July 29, so don’t delay, register today! Chess Players Wanted! The Ogden Valley Branch Library hosts a FREE Youth Chess Club Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. If chess is your game (or if you want to learn how to play), please join us. All skill levels are welcome.
