Foremaster has been called to serve in the Munich Germany/ Austria Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jordon left for his mission on July 1, 2009. Jordon is the son of Brian and Yolonda Foremaster of Jordon Foremaster Liberty. The Foremaster’s are members of the Liberty 2nd Ward. Young Woman Recognition Award Kristy and Logan Sunday The following young women from the Liberty 2nd Ward have earned their Young Woman Recognition Award. Amanda Hansen is the daughter of Brett and Cory Hansen of Liberty. Amanda will be a senior at Weber High and has been attending cosmetology school as well. She is excited to be graduating and starting a job doing hair. Amanda put together school bags for Amanda Hansen underprivileged children in foreign countries for one of her ten-hour projects. Jaymee Rhodes is the daughter of Mike and Julie Rhodes of Liberty. She will be a sophomore at Weber High and enjoys art class, ice skating, drawing, and playing the piano. She sewed a shirt with her grandmother for one of her ten-hour projects. Jaymee loves taking care of children with disJaymee Rhodes abilities at an orphanage in Ecuador that her family helped to create. Cazier-Sunday Kristy Cazier and Logan Sunday will be united in marriage on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple with a reception that evening at the South Ogden University Stake Center. A dance will follow. The bride is the daughter of Ben Cazier of Phoenix, Arizona, and Janet Cazier of Eden. Parents of the groom are Steve and Karen Sunday of Enterprise. The bride graduated from Weber High School in 1998 and attended the ATC in Cosmetology. She also attended Ricks College and Weber State University. She owns her own business, Salon Synergy, in South Ogden. The groom graduated from Layton High in 1999. He served an LDS mission in Guatemala. He is currently employed by Wells Financial Group. The new couple will reside in South Ogden after a honeymoon in the Caribbean. Hannah Barlow is the daughter of Dave and Jennifer Barlow of Liberty. She will be a junior at Weber High and enjoys singing and playing the piano; she is a beautiful performer. Hannah has recently started making and selling jewelry. For one of her ten-hour projects, she read the entire Hannah Barlow Book of Mormon. Jennifer and Thomas Portz Jennifer Wilson and Thomas Richard Portz were united in marriage on June 13 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Clearfield Freeport Branch. The ceremony was officiated by its branch president Bret L. Saxey. The bride is the mother of Sydney and Kaiden Wilson , and the daughter of Maureen and Bruce Chandler of Clearfield and Richard and Lin Wilson of New Hampshire. Parents of the bridegroom are Lily Portz of Washington Terrace, and William and Heidi Portz of Eden. She is a Clearfield High School graduate, and he is a graduate of Bonneville High School. He currently attends the University of Phoenix, pursuing a degree in information technology. The new couple will live in Roy. A garden reception will be held in their honor in September, followed by a honeymoon cruise to the Mexican Riviera. Obituaries Kristie Radmall Kristie (Kris) Radmall, 54, passed away Monday July 6, 2009 at her home after a brief battle with cancer. Kris was born in Ogden, Utah on December 30, 1954, daughter of Kristie Radmall Roma Lou Buckner and L. Stewart Radmall. She leaves behind many close friends and relatives that truly loved her. Kris was raised and educated in the Ogden area, graduating from Bonneville High School and Weber State College. She continued her education throughout her insurance career, earning the certifications CIE, CIC, CPCU, MCM, and AIRC. She devoted much of her life to working in the insurance industry. Starting her career at age 14 at Buckner-Radmall Insurance Counselors, she went on to work in the insurance field for America First CU, CUNA, and American Express. She also worked in the Utah State Commissioner’s office in regulating market conduct of insurance agents for the state of Utah. At the time of her death, she was a manager for RSM McGladrey, working nationwide as a Market Conduct Insurance Regulator. Kris developed a love for knitting from her mother, making many beautiful keepsakes. She also loved scrapbooking. Kris enjoyed anything Disney; this was especially evident in her Christmas decorations. She loved to travel and was looking forward to a return visit to New York in September. Kris truly loved anything to do with spending time with her nieces, nephews, neighbors, and many friends. Kris was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was dedicated to her callings and loved serving in her ward. Kris always served faithfully in any position or responsibility she was given. She especially loved the kids and the kids loved her. Kris is survived by her father L. Stewart Radmall and two brothers Rich S. (Terri) Radmall and Val L. (Terri) Radmall. She leaves many loved nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Sam) Platt, Emily (Brian) Rhees, Bryce (Erica) Radmall, Natalie (Colby) Sherman, Brady Radmall, Brandon (Karley) Radmall, Rachel (Tyler) Albright, Nathan Radmall, and Travis Radmall. Kris also leaves three special grand nieces and nephews: Mikelle Platt, Kade Platt, and Kendell Rhees. She was preceded in death by her mother Roma Lou. Kris and her mother were very close and very much alike. We are sure they have had a joyous reunion. Funeral services were conducted by Bishop Gary B. Pack on Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Ridge Crest LDS Ward Chapel, 2375 E. 3225 N., Layton, Utah. Interment will be at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. in South Ogden. The family would like to thank those special close friends and neighbors who were “always there” for her and helped the family care for Kris during her last days.
