Her welcome home message will be given on March 11, 2007 at 10:50 a.m. in the Huntsville Stake Center. | Birthdays Leona Naisbitt Leona Blake 4] Wilson Hadlock ‘aul was born in Ogden, February 26, the third son of Nyla Rae Jensen and Robert Wayne Kinser. He grew up in Huntsville and Ogden Canyon at a time when wilderness began right outside his back door. He always kept close to the solitude of the wild lands that was the fuel for his soul. The lessons of survival he learned at a young age served him well every day he was given. His greatest joy came from the love and companionship of his son, Shawn Paul Kinser, with whom Paul lived the past three years. The strength of the son is a tribute to the father, and Shawn never faltered when hard choices were thrust before him. Honoring his Dad’s wishes was always the forefront of every _ that had to be made in Paul’s last da Paul lived on his own terms asking little of others while generously giving of himself whenever need arose. was a man of honesty and integrity with a keen mind that was able to solve any problem with which he was confronted. He always had a tale to tell, a joke to share, and a smile that was infectious. Paul is survived by his son Shawn; parents, Robert and Laura Kinser; one brother, Scott (Doris) Kinser; two sisisters Pamela (Robert) Moore, and Linda Knox. Also surviving is a life-long friend, Randy (Debbie) She was born Leona Naisbitt January 23, 1912 in Ogden, to Lewis Dunbar Wilson and Nora Belle Faulkner Wilson. She married Charles Orville Blake, Lloyd R. Hadlock, and — Naisbitt in Ogden. They are all deceas She was a oats parent for 20 years, an avid bowler, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and a lifelong resident of Ogden and Ogden Valley. Her children and their spouses are Charles and Carol Blake, Bill and Eileen Hadlock, and Jack and Sharon Hadlock. She has 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Helen Faye Lyon Helen Faye Brown Lyon, 87, died ee February 14, 2007 at McKayDee Hosp She was ah July 29, 1919 in Princeton, Texas, a daughter of Ernest Henry and Beaulah Pearl Morris Brown. In 1945, Helen married Robert D. Lyon in Whittier, California. Robert preceded her in death on September 27, 1987. She lived in Roy for 40 years and in Ogden for the past 12 years. She attended Stevens- Henager Business College. Helen worked as an executive secretary to the President of Bank of Utah. Her hobby was her grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and supporting them in their different activties. Surviving are two sons, Michael R. Linda) Lyon, Eden; John A. (Mary) Lyon, Ogden; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Donna married Dr. Kennett H. Malan, an Ogden attorney, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 7, 1940. They honeymooned in Hawaii, and their love for the islands kept them returning again and again. For years while living in Ogden, she and Ken presented magic shows for charity. As drama directors they staged road shows and ward plays. They were married thirty-seven years. Kennett died in 1977 in Ogden. Donna lived for 43 years in Lewis Grove in Ogden Canyon. Family and friends frequently visited her canyon home to enjoy her delicious food and clever conversation. But her greatest roles were those of loving mother, doting grandmother, and lovely homemaker. was adored by all who knew her. She had a great love for aa music.
