Over the next two years, until the Allied forces liberated the camp, she watched as people were starved, tortured and killed in (he name of racial purity. The assembly continued with a short video showing wars from the beginning of our country to the present day conflict. As the band played, the Veterans were asked to stand and be acknowledged as the song of their branch of service was played.
