Obituaries Donald Hoyt Donald P. Hoyt was born May 3, 1915, in Kamas, and passed away in his sleep Dec. 24. 2000, in Corpus Christi, TX. A friend said this was so he could spend Christmas with Barbara. Don spent most of his adult life in Southern California where he engaged in numerous activities, hut was most proud of the homes he built and the many friends he made through his handyman activities. Even though he lived in California, he still considered Utah home and while he was able, he came back a couple of times a year. Survived by his daughter, DonEtta (Tom) Beaty, Corpus Christi, TX; sons, Michael (Darlene) Hoyt, Cushing, OK, and Jerry (Sharon) Hoyt, Bad Axe, MI. His grandchildren, Michael Beaty, Shreveport, LA; RaeLynn (Tom) Hoemcke, Dripping Springs, TX; Scott Hoyt, Oklahoma City, OK, and Lynn Hoyt residing in Alabama, and two greatgrandchildren, Cody and Courtney His Hocmcke.
