An important part of the mission of VIP Arts is to foster the development of new artists and playwrights and to provide a venue for the presentation of original work. Since its founding. VIP Arts has presented several original works, including three this Pla-hnu- sc Bill and VIP Arts authors both Brown, Marilyn written themselves, have plays that have been performed at the Villa. Although the chorale performed selections from this piece shortly after its organization, the choir was accompanied then by a piano and is excited to be performing the piece with an orchestra as was intended by the composer, said the chorales musical director David C. Dahlquist. who serves as Dahlquist, Payson High Schools choral director and founded the Payson chorale, will conduct the orchestra and chorale during "The Testament of Freedom. This concert is part of a season-lon- g celebration for the choir of its organization 20 years ago. Members of the auditioned group come from Payson and neighboring communities. Since its inception in February of 1981, the chorale has performed throughout the western United States, winning first place in the community choir division of the jackson Hole Music Festival in 1993.
