State federation recently. On Dec. 23 George Sommers, president of the federation, presented a check for $500 to Joe Starinchak, aquatic education specialist for the Division of Wildlife Resources. Starinchak said the Division will use the money to purchase fishing equipment for its new urban fishing program, which is' designed to increase the interest young people in urban settings have in fishing. The Division recently hired Kim Ryals to serve as its first urban fisheries biologist. Ryals will spend half of her time doing biological work on urban fisheries, while the remaining time will be spent developing partnerships with existing youth fishing clubs, and helping start new clubs, Starinchak said. "Wed like to thank the Utah B.A.S.S. State Federation for all of the support they give our efforts, Starinchak said. "This tea can help heart donation continues to show that the B.A.S.S.
