Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. She also was a store owner and a house wife. On July 10, 1923, she married Douglas T. Simpson in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Utah Temple on July 9, 1947. Douglas T. Simpson preceded her in death on Feb. 13. 1987. Survived by daughter, Shirley S. Black, Kamas; son, Tom D. Simpson. Marion; 10 grandchildren, 39 seven great-greagrandchildren. She is dearly loved and will he greatly missed. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Nov. 9. at the Kamas LDS Church. Interment was in the Marion City Cemetery. Active and committed member of the LDS Church. She continually shared with her family her faith and testimony of the gospel. Site held many callings in the church, including president of the Relief Society and Young Women's organizations and many teaching positions. She and Bcldcn loved "wintering in Yuma where they made many friends. She was an outstanding cook and a compassionate friend. Survived by children. Janice (Ron) Freking.
