This is a huge meet and the Fauvines were in competition with 54 other teams. Brittany Pearce said "We did really wen overall". Each team is judged on each routine and given a rating. Team scores are also tallied. The team received superior ratings in all three of the dances they performed, but they didn't get enough team points to place. A superior rating reflects a 90 or higher score from each judge. The team felt it was a good experience and it will help them in the long run. The Fauvines are in region competition just like other teams and use the invitationals to see how their routines are going to be accepted by the judges. The Fauvines must qualify each number at region to be able to move on to the state competition. The three dances performed were in the categories of military, prop, and dance. FFA Turkey Shoot The South Summit FFA held it's annual Turkey Shoot on Friday Nov. 21. There was an awesome turn out despite the cold weather. There were several different contests held and we came up with six winners. There was one turkey that was donated to a local family to make their Thanksgiving a little brighter. We would like to thank the following businesses for donating items that helped make this event a success: Coast to Coast, Unita Junction. Mountain Valley Service, Drug, and Kamas Food town.
