While, he vyas here, the middle school was invited by the high school to come over and watch him. His program was very well done. Not only did he provide the 20 students with good information, but he was also entertaining. Another assembly was given on the evening of Oct. 19 by John Covey. Before the assembly began, the Jazz Band played several songs, California Dieamin, Johnny B. Good, Norwegian Wood," and Come Rain or Come Shine. Mr. Coveys presentation was very informative. He talked about violence and the number of children that are bom illegitmate in our society or ' that are addicted to drugs. His presentation contained some very scary statistics about children and drugs: 50 percent of all ethnic children are illegitimate and, of these, 30 percent are in a drug involved house-- ' hold. His statistics also predict that in 10 years 80 percent of all children will be bora illegitimate with Saturday -6 8:30 p.m. 8:30 a.in. - 8 p.m. 9 a.m. - 4 p.m: a-- Earlier or later appointment upon requeeL McFee . ch. 40 to 60 percent of the children liv- ing in drug involved households.
