The only place people can buy big game permits is in Division offices this year. There are only a limited number of permits for both deer and elk. People going afield during the deer rifle season this year should enjoy a quality experience, saya Perschon. There will be less hunters afield in 1994 than there has been since the Division began keeping statistics in 1951. According to Perschon, We realize that most people have to work during the day and cant make it into our offices during normal hours. Hunters can save themselves some time by stopping at their local license vendor and purchasing their big game license. When they get to the Division office, they only have to purchase their deer and elk permits. They eliminate half of the process and time standing in line by stopping at their local vendor.
