Shrubs & Trees Many Perennials Check our huge stock of fall bulbs Sister Jeanne Spader Sister Jeanne Spader has been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da-y Saints. She has been called to the Costa Rica Mission. She was die wife of the late George Spader and is the mother of six children, Vickie, Carrie, Bill, Myrna, Tad, and Mary Alice. Sister Jeanne is a registered nurse, spent several years at the Wasatch County Hospital then the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake and three years at a Las Vegas hospital. Sister Spaders Farewell will be held on Sunday, Oct. 17 at the Francis Ward Chapel at 11 am. She will leave for the MTC on die 18th, where she will learn Spanish before leaving for San Jose. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bell 50th Wedding Anniversary and Emma will be for their of Loo Bell, 50th honored Wayne Morgan, wedding anniversary at an Open House on Saturday, Oct 16, from 3 p.m. . to 5 pm., at the Morgan LDS Chapel, 10 West Young Street Morgan. They were wed on Oct. 25, 1943 in Sanford, FL, where he was stationed with the U.S. Navy. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on Jan. 27, 1944. He was bom in Devils Slide to Lawrence and Thelma Bell. He served as a Navy pilot during World War II and attended BYU and Weber College. He was a chemist for Devils Slide Cement Company for 37 years. Emma Loo was bom in Morgan to Albert and Mary Welch. She graduated from LDS Business College. She served as Ward and Stake Relief Society president for many years. Together they have served two LDS Missions in the Manila, Philippines, and the Manchester, NH Missions. They are currently Ogden Temple Workers. Their children and spouses are Steve and Mary Loo Cordon, of Virginia; Robert and Judy Bell, of Bountiful; Richard and Connie Bohman, Don and pieri .Mathews, Frank and Sally Little, all of Morgan. have 25 grandchildren and two , . One year Otd 9&nt Jones Appointed lb Summit County CterkjPosition On Oct. 4, the Summit County Commissioners appointed Kent H. Jones to fill the position of Summit County Clerk. Back in September, the Republican Central Committee chose three individuals as possible candidates for the position. They were Kent Jones; Howard Peterson, of Coalville, and Bill Harris, of Peoa. He will replace Doug Geary who is resigning in the third year of a four year term. Kent has been general manager Bell Oil Company, of Coalville, for the past fifteen years. Becky then transferred to foe University of Utah, where for the last year, she has continued her education. She is pursuing a Psychology major and an English minor.
