They have six children, five girls and one boy. The children are Heather, age 14; Brianne, age 13; Megan, age 11; Clinton, age 9; Chelesa, age 7, and Darci, age 4. Kevin was bom and raised in the Spokane, WA area and attended Weber State University. Pam was raised in Southern California and attended USC for a few years. They were married in June of 1978 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Shortly after they were married, they moved to Utah. Kevin is an auctioneer and general manager for the Salt Lake Gar Auction. They are currently living in their cabin in Kamas while their new home here is bung built. The family enjoys music and doing activities in the outdoors. Pam and Kevin extend their appreciation to the warm welcome they have received since moving here, and we are glad to have them as part of our community. We were very glad to have Leah Morby with us on Friday. She may not live here at the moment but we still claim her. Get well greetings go to Ren Wilde and to Laura Roberts, and our sympathies go to Cleora and Owen Tnijillo. Cleon's seven year old Jay Bateman, drowned in a boating accident on July 4th. Business meetings were conducted by President Burt Secretary Woodrow Nielson read the minutes which we approved. Frank Toole and Eleanor Morby gave the preyen. As a physics 'July 7: We met at our building and was greeted by Arden Prince and Gordon and Edna. Barbara Jepsen passed away. Such a sweet little girl, and also Melva Hoyt. The prayer and blessing was given by Loraine Bagnell. We were then served macaroni and ham with cheese, hot bread and jam, a relish tray, carrots and peas, choice of drink, and our dessert, rhubarb cake, which was different and very good. Elaine Prescott traveled to Salt Lake to a funeral of a dear and close friend. A group of our Peoa Seniors planned a party to honor Lois Marchant for her 80th birthday. There were 10 of them who went to the Chicken hm for dinner. Edna Atkinson had the misfortune to get her hand slammed in the car door, but trooper that she is, she waited until after the Oakley Parade to go to die doctor to get it treated. You know life is almost like a game of cards anyway. When you think about it we have greeting cards (birthday, anniversary, sympathy, and etc), post cards, and credit cards. I dare say we use them all Our sympathies go to a mem- bers family and friend, Dave Clark, who passed away on July 10. July 8: The Seniors met at their building and boarded two buses along with Seniors from Park City and Coalville and headed out for the Black Hawk Campground in Payson Canyon. There were about 100 Seniors, of those 24 was from Kamas Seniors. It was a beautiful trip. The scenery was pretty as anyone could remember and it was very pleasant. There were all kinds of fun and games to take part in. A very nice box lunch was served and there was a program presented by the BYU. The theme was around the world and the music and dances were great also the beautiful costumes. There were some scary moments when it was discovered that Mona and Maxine were not on the bus, but they were located and taken to Provo to Mima's daughters place and were brought home from there. Poor babes in the woods. The ranger told us the history of the Black Hawk War and how Brigham Young met with Black Hawk and convinced him that the Mormons were not bad people and how they became very good friends.
