Show Friday, September 25, 1992 The 5cnmi County Bee 3B 1 Kamas Valley Court of Honor Held The Kamas Valley Boy Scouts held their Court of Honor on Tuesday evening at the Kamas LDS Church building. There were many Merit badges and rank advancements awarded. The troops have been very busy during the summer with summer camps and hikes. Troop 941 earned 49 Merit badges and six earning the patch. Shane Norris earned swimming, cycling, rowing, and cook50-mi- le 50-mil- er ing; Anthony Dumas earned swimming, lifesaving, cycling, rowing, motorboating, and cooking; Jared Waters earned swimming, lifesaving, and cooking; Brett Sid-dow- ay earned hiking, cycling, cooking rowing, and motorboating. Scoutmaster Kerry Lambert gave the Scoutmaster's minute on the antiions. They make very dangerous traps for ants. He likened their traps lo the traps the world has set for the Scouts which are also very crafty and very hard to sec until they are right or. he edge and perhaps too late lo avoid the trap. He stressed that Scouts need to stay far away from ihe worldly traps because even just going to the edge to just look in can be hazardous.
