Show 6A Thu Summit County Boo Friday, Juno 5, 1992 Students Receive Academic Awards Wednesday, May 13, South Summit High School held their annual Academic Awards Assembly. Those receiving awards, along with their parents, were invited to attend beginning at 7 p.m. The evening began with awards being given to those students in each of the classes who were able to maintain their name on the Honor Roll (93-9- 0 percent) for all three South Summit Wildcats South Summit Track Team Has Successful Season terms. South Summit Elementary School Awards Assembly Held The Souui Summit Elementary School Awards assembly began with the graduating fifth graders parading in to "Pomp and Circumstance. They all took their place on the stage steps. The Kamas Valley Lion's Club had a presentation. Tony Powell gave the presentation in absence of a representative. Julie Jacobson was awmded a brailler. Julie has diabetes and has been teaming braille with a borrowed brailler. They feel she may need a brailler in a number of years. The Region Reflection Contest winners were given trophies. Honorable Mentions. Patrick Martin, Literature; Jeffrey Pitt, Literature; Ben Lee, Literature; Tammy Sorenson, Literature, and Andrea Smoot, Literature.
