The girls participated in the Spirit Spectacular, where they competed against many other cheer teams. They were awarded a second place trophy for their performance and a superior plaque for their spirit. The girls had an unforgettable experience. The cheerleader! are sponsoring the Aloha Dance on Friday, Sept 1 to be held after the South Summit vs. Park City football game. Everyone is welcome, but due to our new school policy of closed campus dances, you must contact a South Summit student to sponsor you in order to obtain a pass. The cost will be $3 per person and pictures will be available. The dance will feature music videos by Tracy Chapman. Upper classmen are to make the freshmen feel welcome. The entire studentbody will now meet in the auditorium instead of separate classrooms for correctives and extensions. This will allow teachers more time to work with individual students. For the purpose of roll taking, the students will be assigned seats in alphabetical order.
