Show CHANGES AT THE commercial colip CLUB at the meeting of the board of governors of the commercial club held last thursday even evening ingi some changes were made iu in the management of the club the board appointed W E davis vice president and manager lo 10 roy B young secretary and W T davis treasurer all these gentlemen will serve without pay and the secretary will be allowed an appropriation for stenographic work which will be necessary in disposing of tile the many communications which come to the club mr air john jelin L pierce ano has served tile the club as secretary and manager for a number of years found it impossible to give the attention to the work vork that was necessary and the club is hardly financially able at this time to employ a high salaried man to give his time exclusively to the work of the office so davis and young proffered their services gratis if 1 the work could be divided which was done the matter of 0 street illumination was given some careful consideration and dr R T willey was a committee of 0 one to work out some lighting scheme as he be has had bad considerable sid erable experience in electrical engineering gi and then theil the will be taken up with the city council in an endeavor to get action |
