I asked some of the kids why they were not involved in any acitvities. There were a number of reasons including injuries, and not being here in time to sign up for them. The one that most shocked me was that many did not want to become involved. I wonder if many of these people have tried for something and not made it, feeling it was not worth their time or that they would never make it. Just because people are not involved in sports or clubs does not mean that they are not involved in their life. I am very involved in the school and its activities.
