Hortin of Wanship arp pleased to announce the marriage of their son Russell J. Hortin to Sue Drage of Spanish' Fork. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Niles W. Drage. They will be married Friday March 21, 1986 in the Salt Lake Temple. " A reception will be held in their honor on the evening .of March 21, 1986 in the Spanish Fork 7th Ward from 7 - 9 p.m. An open house will also honor the couple on Saturday evening March 22, 1986 at the Wanship Ward Cultural Hall from 7 - 9 p.ni. The events are open to all friends and relatives. The groom graduated from Zane DeWeese receives certificate from auctioning school. Coalville IBFWNem The Coalville BPW Club met March 5, 1986 at Deans Coffee Shop for their March meeting. President Georgia S cates called The the meeting to order. Pledge was led by Dorene Taylor and Mae Moore led the Club Collect. A delicious meal of chicken strips was served to 14 members and one guest The meeting was an open meeting. Business pertaining to tile dub Was discussed. Joan Jones announced the Coalville Chamber is having a clean-u- p campaign and encouraged , all members to be aware of tills and , theirhelp would be very much appreciated. Joyce Mitchell also announced the Americal Legion would be selecting the girls to represent North Summit at Girls State. Georgia S cates, Louise and Rose Wallace will represent the BPW dub at the meeting. Georgia reported on the science and math workshop held at the. University of Utah. Nineteen girls from North This was Summit attended. for and. by our sponsored paid dub. President Georgia felt .as tills was very educational and., wortn while. We plan to support this program agate next year. Mae Moore, the chairperson of our Young Career Girl program, announced DeAnn Geary will represent our dib this year. Everyone expressed they felt DeAnn was an excellent choice. Dorene Taylor was chosen by. dub members as Woman of the Year to represent ounclub at State held April 12th. We want to express otir congratulations to these women and we know they Local Graduates From Missouri Auction School North Summit High School where he was active in football and rodeo club. He has served an L.D.S. mission to the Columbia; South Carolina Mission. He. is currently employed with Stanly J. Stahr in Oakley, Utah. HU ' fiance graduated from Spanish Fork High School and L.D.S. She is Seminary. currently attending Utah Technical College in Orem where she will graduate in June with a degree in SalesRetail Mgt. While attending UTC she has been active in Deca, and is currently serving as Cultural V.P. on Student Council.. The couple will make their home in Hoyts ville. will certainly represent our club well. They are both very active in our club and we regard them as great assets to not only our club but to our community as well. Joan Sargent read the treasurers report and we all feel we are having a very good year. Our club was the first dub in Utah to 2 send in thrir project We are money. very proud of this. We feel this is due to the hard work of our members and officers. They should be proud of the work they are doing. The committee for the months meeting was Phylis Smith, Sharlene Anderton, Merisa Judd and Joylyn Mitchell. We want to thank them for the lovely evening, the colorful decoration and Phylis for the delicious dessert. Col. Zane DeWeese, RFD Box 74, Coalville, UT, has just returned from Kansas City, auctioneers from throughout the United States and Canada. Missouri, where he successfully completed the course in Auctioneering and Auction Sales Management at Missouri Auction The concentrated two week course is conducted by Missouri Auction School at the worlds largest auction training center located in the Kansas City Stockyards. His training included lectures and workshops featuring prominent auctioneers from throughout America. School. He received his diploma and the honorary title of Colonel along with men and women Youngest Agent in U.S.A. ARMY AND AIR FORCE HOMETOWN NEWS-St- aff Sgt. Jeffrey K. Judd, son of Grant L. and Louise D. Judd of Rural Route 1, Coalville, Utah, has graduated from the U.S. Air Force course for computer programmers at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss, A Graduation Degree in Salerie Computer Operation was presented to Justin Nichols by American Airlines in Dallas, Texas. This degree is unique because it makes Justin the youngest travel agent in the United States. Salerie Computer is the used computer by the airlines and travel agencies to book reservations such as airlines, hotels, car rentals, and tours. Justin is a freshman at South Summit. He maintains a 3.87 Graduates of the course studied the operation of convent- ional and electronic data processing equipment, and earned credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. His wife, Sheryll, is the daughter of Richard K. and Marilyn Gordon of 112 S. Ball, Webb City, Mo. Subjects covered included antique auctions, livestock, furniture, business liquidations, real estate, rare coin, auto, machinery, general merchandise. all types of estate auctions, and the rapid fire chant of the tobacco auctioneer. I grade point average and hopes to become a doctor in the future. His dad, Mr. Franc Nichols, a teacher at South Summit, said of Justin, American Airlines told me Justin was their youngest graduate. He not only mastered the course, but also helped the instructor teach others the complicated principles of the Salerie Computer System. I am very proud of him."
