Joan was born and raised in Coalville and has lived there all her life except for a short lime in Logan and Salt Lake City. Joan and her husband. Arlin, arc the parents of five children: Wade. Todd, Darren, Cheryl and They also have a Greg. daughter-in-laMary Beth. do Joan likes to read, she can sew handiwork, (when find time), loves to do ' work outside in the summer, and likes to go to the mountains. She is also a great sports spectator, especially of the ones in which Cheryl and Greg are involved. Joan spends a great deal of time caring for the Moore Motel in Coalville, which she and Arlin own. She also finds time to be the president of North Summit High School's PTSA where she does an outstanding job support ing the students, parents, teachers and principal. Meet Annie to Whenever people start with. hear Annie's out of place English accent, they ask how on earth she came to live in the small town of Her story begins in Kamas. Brisbane. Australia, where her parents lived before moving to a town 25 miles west of London, England. In her teenage years, Annie decided to investigate the L.D.S. faith. One of the missionaries who taught her was Annie Elder Kerry Lambert. excitedly accepted the gospel and was baptized by this young missionary. She never dreamed that seven years later they would be married. Meanwhile Annie graduated from high school where she left several school records in track and field. Because of her love of children and sports she persued a teaching degree at the University of London, majoring In P.E To gain experience, Annie accepted an opportunity to work in a summer camp in Pennsylvania. Upon completion of the camp she came to Utah for what turned out to be more than a visit. Annie and Kerry were married on November 26, 1980. Kerry has lived in the Kamas area for the majority of his life. He attended U.S.U. and graduated in 1978 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. He has taught in grades 1 through 5 since that time in the South Summit School District. Kerry has a deep love for the outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, and backpacking. He also spends summers cutting timber for the Sargent Lumber Company. The Lamberts are dedicated to physical fitness; Annie enjoys aerobics while Kerry either jogs or swims laps each day. Kerry also enjoys basketball and plays in both church and city leagues. The Lamberts are parents of three little girls. Jamie, four years, Becky two years, and Katie six months. Jamie attends a neighborhood group called Joy School and takes gymnastics classes. She enjoys the outdoors almost as much as her dad and one of her favorite activities is studying the underside of stream rocks for strange and interesting creatures.
