Show n i id 0 should be one district V I 1 e have just received a letter from one of our readers in salt lika who is quite hemily hea ily interested in tintic gintic and who is very much in favor of the consolidation of the tintic gintic and north tintic gintic districts district within the past fen fm days the writer has discussed this pr ft NA ith a large number of claim owners and all of them are in favor of such a consolidation they are unanimous in the belief that the consolidation of the two districts and the fixing of the boundary lines would do away with the confusion r garding the recording of location notices and filing of other papers at present the boundaries of the tintic gintic district extend far enough to the east to take in what is commonly called east tintic gintic although many of the claim owners in this section are of the opinion that their ground is outside the tintic gintic dis district trint all of that section which lies to the east of the yankee and beck beek tunnel mines and south of the track of the rio grande railway raila ay is in cintio district proper and all notices should be re corded with the district recorder at silver city if this section w mas as an unorganized mining district then it would be necessary to record at provo as the greater portion of the ground is in utah county J M taylor the acting recorder of tintic gintic mining district informed the reporter that in his claim owners in the south end of tintic gintic are in favor of the consolidation of and north cintio districts and having one recorder do the it has been suggested that cl elation cletion of one recorder for the two mining districts and having both offices at one place would bring about the same results as a consoli dation of the two there is but little money in the offices but by bombin ing them the recorder would receive in fees a fair compensation for his ills work captain hugo D brozin wio for many years has served so credit ably as recorder pf the north tintic gintic district expressed himself as being in flavor favor of having but one recorder for the two districts believing that this ni be better in every way officers elected the bullock mining and Aliling mil ing company stockholders stock helders met tuesday 4 at provo and elected the following directors and officers B II 11 bullock president J C bullock vice vico pres dent A L booth secretary ard treasurer M al kellogg bel logg IV F giles and thomas thlmas boardman the company is operating i ear silver city |
