This will be my last Issue as editor of the Summit County Bee, since I am resigning January 1. I leave with reluctance, but the death of my husband has necessitated an employment change. I'll be starting a new position in January as a teacher at Utah Technical College in Salt Lake. It has been an enjoyable and challenging new experience this year to be in charge of a weekly newpaper. The Wave Publishing Staff! School reporters, town news writers, church and club reporters, the Extension and Wildlife Services, and many, many others turned in news, sometimes on a weekly basis. And two dedicated offices managers also kept everything straight and many of their stories with me. They taught me a great deal. And 1 appreciate the Wave Publishing staff, who has always been pleasant and helpful to work with. I am especial ly grateful for the help they gave me during some of the difficult days since Johns death. So.. .now it is time for a new beginning. Newl I beginnings are hard. But we all have a new year tol I make them in. I wish a good new year! for you. and did a great deal of writing for the Bee.
