Martin Weller Long time resident, Margarete Weller, succumbs Margarete G. Martin Weller, 83, died Monday April 17, 1978, of causes incident to age. She was bom Oct. 11, 1894, at Chemnitz, Germany, a daughter of Carl Moritz and Emilie Auguste Martin. Mrs. Weller joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in August, 1916. She has been an active member since that time. She married Gustav A. Weller Sept. 28, 1916, in Germany. They emigrat- ed to Salt Lake City where their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. From 1916 to 1925 the Wellers were heavily engaged in missionary work in Germany. Brother Weller opened six branches of the church, with over 300 converts. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1925. In August of 1929 the Wellers established "Zion's Book Store". Their son Sam now owns and operates the store. The Wellers moved to Marion in November of 1939. Mrs. Weller is surviv- ed by eleven sons and daughters. They are: Mrs. Richard (Ester) Freder-icluo- n to the Ice Capades Tuesday.
