Leatherbury, 53. passed away on November 23. 1997 in Salt Like City. Utah. Born May II. 1942 to Jack B. Ix'atherbury and Gayle Catherine Strong Ixatlierhury, in Eureka. Utah. Paul was past President of (lie Utah Arabian Horse Association. He loved Ins horses, fishing and traveling, lie had a great zest foi life. Paul was the "World's Greatest Salesman." Paul is survived by his wife. Lorraine Harrow Ix'atherbury: daughter. Marilyn Banning, her husband. Brent and four grandchildren: son. Paul K. Ix'alhcr-burJr., his wife Kelly, and three grandchildren; brothers, Jack, wife. Fran; Charles, Chris, wife, Robyn; Marshall, wife, Anne. Greg, wife, Pam; sisters. Roxanne, husband, Lee Brough; Susannc Proctor. Preceded in death by his parents. Jack and Gayle; two sisters, Jacquilme and Johanna. Graveside services were held November 26, Wednesday, 1997, at the Alpine City y. warth. county commissioner. Part of the roadway belongs to Marily Park's brother. Steve Kay. Kay was out of town for a few weeks. The action of purchasing the property would not require (he roadway to he part of the same action. Leavitt said a portion of the roadway belongs to the Parks. "Wc are buying (he beach for (lie agreed price," he said. It is fairly certain that Kay will give the county the deed to the roadway. The roadway was abandoned, at the request of Kay and the Parks when vandalism became such a problem for (he landowners. The road was all the county had a deed for.. the land the roadway crossed belonged to Park and Kay. and the beach front property belonged to the Parks. After the road was abandoned. residents of the county who used the reservoir for recreation boating and fishing, objected to commissioners. The reservoir was closed to recreation use, they said in a public meeting, if the road and beach were denied them.
