CONOVER UT 1. 84663 Publisher MRS. GRACE BERNINI Louis F. Fisher lands Fred Fisher, age 61. passed away August 12, 1997. in Ncphi. Utah. He was bom March 21. 1936. in Eureka, Utah to Fred Richard and Sybil Greenhalgh Fisher. He married Opal Allen on December 25. 1966; later divorced. Louis was a veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years. He was a General Mine Foreman for Ozark Lead in Missouri and worked for 30 years in the mining industry. Louis believed in and lived loving kindness. One of his greatest joys in life was helping others, particularly those people that were less able to help themselves. Louis was a great inspiration for those in his family and for many others. Survived by his sons, Fred (Gina) Fisher and Jonathan (Amy) Fisher, both of Missouri; his mother Sybil Kay (Fisher) and sister Pal (Gordon) Newton of Mona; brother Dean (Maggie) Fisher of California, as well as three grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Fred, and sister. Marie Fisher. Services were held at the Anderson Funeral Home in Ncphi. Utah on Saturday, August 16, 1997. He was laid to rest in Goshen. Utah. It was suggested that the park would be a good place for the monument. The motto for the DUP is "Our Legacy Binds which will be Us Together, inscribed on the structure along with a little history pertaining to the motto. After discussion, all council members voted in favor of dedicating a 12 x 12 piece of ground at the City Park for the monument.
