IV's, intiba-tioand drug therapy. The class was taught by Clayton Allred. Registered NurscCIIP. At the end of the course, the had to pass off IV's. five and inserting 10 needles. After passing, they (hen qualified to take the State of I 'tali written exam. All five rmcrgency Medical Technicians successfully passed the State exam. Passing semes must by SO percent or higher. They are now State certified as Intermediate liMT's and will lie able lo administer eleven drugs either by IV. intramuscular, or orally Also, they will soon be working towards getting both ambulances certified by the State as level I I 'nils. Although this class was difficult at tunes, they all fell that it was well worth their time and hard work. The advanced level will be a valuable asset to the community as well as the entire West Juab area.. which F.urcka covers. Being able lo perform these advanced skills will greatly benefit those in need ol emergency care. This is a position and does not include benefits. Pay is minimum wage.
