Show March 24, 1995 - The Eureka Reporter - Page Three an Easter Parade (around the tables), will be held at the April Seniors kick up heels at St. Pats Day party Members of the Eureka Senior Citizens Young-at-Hca- rt Club, met at the Memorial Building on Wednesday for their annual St. Patricks Day President Leah Towers welcomed everyone and took charge of the the proceedings. Throughout afternoons activities, the spotlight was on Eureka s resident "Leprechaun".. Martin Fennell, who started out with the invocation. A scrumptious dinner, prepared by Tom and Clco Judge, Maxine Schow, and Marcella Chambers, was served on tables beautifully decorated with streamers. hats, shamrocks (large and small), leprechauns, and many other festive decorations symbolic of the day. Nut cups filled with green and white candy and nuts, served as favors. O11 the decorating committee were Leah Towers and Edna Jasper, with an assist by Anna Gillespie. The program began with an Irish Blessing by Martin, which he received from daughter, Eileen Lindsay. He followed with a vocal solo, "Galway Bay", with Mabel Butler providing the piano accompaniment. Everyone then joined in a led by Mabel at the get-togeth- Mark and BcrniccTaylor celebrate their 50th Anniversary. The couple have three living children: Ken and (Colleen) Taylor: Mary Lou and (Mike) Draper; and Tom and (Pauline) Taylor, all of Eureka.
