This is an annual field trip which the kids always remember. Dorothy Allinson gave them the grand tour. She showed the students where the mail comes in, where their mail boxes arc located, how to cancel the mail, etc. The were really impressed by the big safe and the old staircase. Postmaster, Julie Ann Sorensen sorted mail while they were there as the students supervised.. ha! They all had a great time, but the teacher will truly be sad next year when the new post office is built. The kindergarten class has also been learning about pollution and they spent time picking up the trash which has been blown around the school yard this last winter. If you sec any of the students, please take the time to tell them what a great job they did.
