Dinners were eaten at their host families, followed by a Sunday-dres- s dance at Kanab Stake Center, and finally blessed rest at their hosts home. Friday was another chuck-fu- ll day: A trip to Pope Springs National Park where blacksmithing and cheese-makin- g were demonstrated; the history of the area was explained; and the coolness of the fort, which was built over the spring, was enjoyed. Then a hike up Heart (shaped) Canyon brought them to die authentic Indian drawings on the walls, and a service project, improving the il, (mostly removing rocks).
